This Privacy Policy describes how Kleis Commerce ("us," "we," or "Kleis"), the provider of the "B2B Bulk Order by CSV" Shopify Application (the "App"), collects, uses, and shares information about you. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information as a Shopify merchant ("Merchant," "you") when you install and use the App, as well as the information of your end-users ("User" or "your customer").
By installing or using the App, you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
To provide the core functionalities of the App, we need to access specific information from your Shopify store:
A. Information from the Merchant (You):
- Store Information: When you install the App, we access your basic store information via the Shopify API, such as your store domain and contact email.
- Product Catalog Information: To perform product matching, we need to access your product catalog data, including product titles, SKUs, and specific product Metafields you designate for matching (e.g., OEM numbers, customer numbers, etc.).
B. Information from Your Customers (End-Users):
- Uploaded Files: We collect and process the CSV/Excel files your customers upload. These files primarily include product identifiers (like SKU, OEM No.) and order quantities.
- Operation Logs: We log user actions, such as the time of upload, success or failure, and matching results. If your customer uses this feature while logged in, we may record their customer ID to allow you (the Merchant) to review these logs in your dashboard.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information only for the following necessary purposes:
- To Provide Core Services: To read the CSV files uploaded by your customers, match them against your product catalog (including Metafields), and ultimately add the products to the shopping cart in bulk.
- To Provide Analytics (Planned Feature): We plan to use stored operation logs and uploaded files to display analytics to you (the Merchant) in the App's backend, such as usage frequency, popular products, and failure records.
- For Support and Maintenance: To diagnose problems, troubleshoot errors, and improve the functionality and user experience of the App.
3. Data Storage and Security
- Storage Location: As per the v1 specification, all collected information (including uploaded CSV files and operation logs) will be stored on Kleis Commerce's secure database servers.
- Security Measures: We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration.
4. Data Sharing
We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information or your customers' information. We only share information in the following circumstances:
- To Serve You (the Merchant): You (the Merchant) will have access to your customers' upload logs and data (as provided in the backend dashboard).
- Shopify Platform: To the extent necessary for the App to function within the Shopify platform.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose necessary information when required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data as long as you have the App installed. Upon uninstallation, you may request the deletion of all associated data by contacting us at the email address provided in Section 8.
6. Your Rights
You (the Merchant) and your customers have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. If you wish to exercise these rights, please contact us at the email address below.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via the email you provided upon installation or through an announcement in the App's interface.
